The Alto-Extremo company has been around for several years. In this time we have been working hard to optimize resonance transfer. Based on our experiences we have created different kinds of absorbers. Initially, we wanted to create a multi-purpose absorber. This is not feasible however, since every device reacts differently and requires the absorber differently. As a result we have created five different absorbers. Alto Extremo absorbers are optimized to produce the most natural sound possible. They are equipped with a dampening or absorbing component, either a damper ring or Delrin. Thanks to the damper ring, Lyd absorbers can also be used for a variety of purposes. Since every device and every base can react differently however, no all-encompassing statements can be made about a certain kind of absorber. Every absorber goes through a process of trial and error and there will never be one absorber that functions best under all conditions. For this reason you should always test an absorber in its hi-fi chain, as only then can you be sure that it functions properly. When used properly, our absorbers create unprecedented sound quality with better three-dimensionality, clearly defined instruments and outstanding dynamics. We strive to make our absorbers as flexible as possible so that they deliver optimal results regardless of how you use them.
