2. Scope
2.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between Company Volker Behrens and consumers or entrepreneurs regarding the purchase of goods from the business divisions Hifi4you (trade) and Alto Extremo (manufacturing).
2.2 All orders are not placed via an online shop but exclusively:
- by email
- by telephone
- in writing
- or in personal contact
2.3 For Alto Extremo products, additional product safety information, warnings, and technical data apply, which are included with the product or provided separately.
2.4 Deviating terms of the customer are not recognized unless Company Volker Behrens expressly agrees to their validity in writing.
3. Conclusion of Contract
3.1 Customer inquiries by email, telephone, or in person do not constitute an offer.
3.2 A contract is only concluded when Company Volker Behrens:
- confirms the order in writing, or
- ships the goods, or
- hands over the goods personally
3.3 All offers are non-binding. Technical changes, further developments, or adjustments to ensure delivery capability remain reserved.
3.4 Contract language is German.
4. Prices
4.1 The individually communicated prices apply. All prices are final prices including statutory VAT.
4.2 Shipping costs are listed separately and depend on weight, shipping method, and destination country.
4.3 Promotional prices may be limited in time or quantity.
5. Payment Methods
- Advance payment by bank transfer
Additional payment methods may be agreed individually.
6. Delivery, Availability, and Partial Deliveries
6.1 Delivery is subject to correct and timely supply. Compensation for delayed or incomplete delivery is excluded unless gross negligence is present.
6.2 Company Volker Behrens reserves the right to deliver goods of equivalent price and quality. If not satisfied, the goods may be returned free of charge.
6.3 Partial deliveries are permitted and considered independent deliveries.
6.4 Transport damage: Obvious damage must be reported immediately to the carrier. Hidden damage must be reported within 3 working days.
7. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
Consumers have a right of withdrawal according to legal regulations. The complete withdrawal policy is provided separately and forms part of these GTC.
8. Retention of Title
Goods remain the property of Company Volker Behrens until full payment is received.
9. Warranty
9.1 Statutory warranty rights apply.
9.2 Warranty period for consumers: 24 months. For entrepreneurs: 12 months.
9.3 For Alto Extremo products: The customer must check whether the products are suitable for their surfaces before use. Liability for surface changes (e.g., scratches, discoloration) is excluded.
10. Liability
10.1 Company Volker Behrens is fully liable for damages resulting from:
- injury to life, body, or health
- intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty
- product liability law
- assumed guarantees
10.2 In cases of slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical contractual damages.
10.3 No liability is assumed for data loss; the customer is responsible for data backup.
10.4 Liability for improper use is excluded.
11. Product Safety (Manufacturer Area Alto Extremo)
11.1 Alto Extremo complies with the requirements of the EU Product Safety Regulation (EU 2023/988 – GPSR).
11.2 For each product, the following are provided:
- safety information
- warnings
- care instructions
- technical data
- manufacturer information
- declarations of conformity
11.3 Products with magnetic components include additional safety instructions.
12. Data Protection
12.1 We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Responsible entity:

12.2 Collection of personal data when visiting the website When accessing our websites, technical data (IP address, date/time, browser, operating system, accessed pages) are automatically processed. This processing is technically necessary to provide the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
12.3 Hosting Our websites are hosted by STRATO AG. A data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
12.4 Cookies Our websites use only technically necessary cookies (e.g., session cookies). No tracking cookies, analytics tools, or marketing services are used.
12.5 Contact When contacting us by email, telephone, or in person, we process the data you provide to handle your inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
12.6 Contract processing For order processing, we process name, address, contact details, ordered products, and payment information. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Retention period: according to legal requirements (usually 10 years).
12.7 Data transfer Data is only transferred when necessary: – to shipping service providers (e.g., DHL) – to tax consultants – to authorities when legally required No transfer for advertising purposes.
12.8 Data security We use technical and organizational measures (SSL encryption, access restrictions, secure server infrastructure).
12.9 Deletion of data Data is deleted when the purpose no longer applies or legal retention periods have expired.
12.10 Your rights You have the following rights: – access (Art. 15 GDPR) – rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) – deletion (Art. 17 GDPR) – restriction (Art. 18 GDPR) – data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) – objection (Art. 21 GDPR) – complaint to the supervisory authority

12.11 Changes to the privacy policy We reserve the right to adjust this privacy policy if legal changes require it.
13. Dispute Resolution
The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
Company Volker Behrens does not participate in dispute resolution procedures before a consumer arbitration board.
14. Final Provisions
14.1 German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
14.2 Place of jurisdiction for entrepreneurs is Marl.
14.3 If individual provisions are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
